In this experience, you will go through the entire process of making, straining, and tasting Korea's iconic traditional drinks: Makgeolli and Soju. Learn the slow fermentation process by mixing rice, water, and Nuruk (traditional starter), and even try straining the finished Makgeolli by hand! ✔ Highlights: - Introduction and hands-on Makgeolli making - Introduction to the traditional Soju distillation process - Tasting of premium Makgeolli and Soju (4–5 glasses total) - Take home 1 bottle (500ml) of self-strained Makgeolli as a souvenir Perfect for beginners and those new to Korean alcohol. This is a small brewing studio run by my mother and me. Following the Korean tradition of home-brewing, I naturally learned the craft from my mother, who learned it from her mother and generations before. I want to share the joy of 'making' alcohol, which is just as delightful as drinking it!
